Litha Ritual: 12:00 PM - Dusk

Place: Patapsco Valley State Park Glen Artney Shelter #66 - From the Beltway (I-695) Take Rt. 1 (Exit 12-A) toward Elkridge. Follow Rt. 1 South about 3 miles to South St. Turn right. Park entrance is on the left. From I -95 take I-195 to Rt. 1 (Exit 3) toward Elkridge to South St. Turn right. Park entrance is on the left. From Howard County follow Rt. 1 through Elkridge and into Baltimore County. Turn left onto South St. Park entrance is on the left.

Cost: Free (Park entrance fee is also already paid. Just say you are at #66 and they will give you a ticket)

Bring: Your food for the day (a dessert dish (sugar free is always welcome) for the sharing table), Drinks, Plates, Cups, utensils, etc. Like you are going on a picnic. Ritual stuff (Athame's, Chalice, Robes, Drums or other musical instruments, etc. if you are going to participate in ritual, but not required.)


RSVP: By email jaylin@comcast.net before June 1st 2009 (Space is limited to 70 people and we have been known to fill up fast)


Provided: Workshops, Charcoal for the BBQ grill, Pavilion, hotdogs and rolls, Ketchup, Mustard, and PICKLES!

All workshops are free and open to all. We are also looking for teachers to teach for free at other Open circles. Please contact me if you would like to lead a workshop or a ritual (A short bio of yourself, and a description of the workshop or ritual.) to jaylin@comcast.net

Had a fun day. Weather was beautiful. Joey said the best part was the drumming and chanting. The summer solstice has always been one of my favorite days and it is best spent outside with friends. Thanks for planning the picnic, Bunky.

Thank you for coming. It was fun. I got to be in the woods with food, good people, good conversations, drumming and magic what more could you ask for.
